To name a few examples from this season's productions: Matilda leaves her mark on the heart of Miss Honey. William Shakespeare leaves his mark on pages of scripts for centuries. The Addams leave their mark of love on their family in a world of darkness. Annie leaves her mark on the lives of the orphans and Mr. Warbucks. The passengers of the Titanic tragically leave their mark on history, which we continue to reflect on over 100 years later.
This season, we are encouraging you all to think about how these characters positively impact the present lives of their friends and family, the future ahead, and the history they leave behind. We ask you all to represent yourselves with kindness, curiosity, and confidence to make a lasting impact with our audiences, castmates, parents, teachers, etc.
We hope the messages within each show influence you to make smart choices, create good impressions, and enact positive change on and off the stage as you continue to grow as performers and people.
You never know how your words and actions will stay with someone else and we encourage you all to “leave your mark” with positive intentions. Show the world what it means to be a hardworking, passionate, and thoughtful Original Kid!
